Dina Meyer is a New York native who was brought up within Forest Hills Queens. She relocated to Dix Hills Long Island just after she completed her junior high. Dina Meyer is the sister of two brothers, Gregory is her elder brother and Evan is her younger brother. When she was between the ages of 9 to 16 the first time she was exposed to the world of modeling was when she began modeling. She began her training in acting at The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she studied Sanford Meisner's techniques for acting together with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors to receive this kind of training. Her first role was in the soap opera Beverly Hills, 90210, which required her to move out to Los Angeles. The role was as the main character in Johnny Mnemonic in which she did almost every stunt herself, and established herself as a skilled actor. The talent agent she worked with was also representing Matt LeBlanc so, through her agent, she was able to get a regular role on Friends.
