Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. Aspen Ladd trained in kickboxing, BJJ, boxing, and wrestling prior to her first appearance as an amateur at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd, who won an unanimous decision in a great back-and forth fight with the fighters, got her Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya lost by Ladd in the third round of UFC 7.7 on ESPN. For a rematch she took on Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. It was a loss by unanimous decision.
