Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American actress who performed a variety of characters on television, in movies as well as the stage. Anne Lockhart was born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953. She is an American actress. She is known best for her character of Lieutenant Sheba in her role in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). She is the daughter and granddaughter of daughter of actors Gene Lockhart, as well as actor June Lockhart. Lockhart was very young when she began her acting career. There is a chance that an agent declined the role for her without informing her. She was initially chosen to play the role by Glen Larson who sent her an initial script for the role on the 1978 TV series Battlestar Galactica. The role was initially rejected because the character was not that robust. Glen was later able to write a character for her that featured the strong character Sheba. The Living Legend, the first 25 pages of which she had already read it was immediately embraced. It ran for a single season. She also starred with Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. And she costarred alongside Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
